ONLINE REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED. Still need to register? On site registration will be held on Dec. 31st at Mango's Restaurant in downtown Bethany Beach and on Jan. 1st on the Bethany Beach Bandstand. Please see detailed informtion below. See you on January 1st to welcome 2013 with a splash!
REGISTRATION INFORMATION Costs: $25 per adult thru Nov. 30 (all mailed registrations must be postmarked by Nov. 30) $30 per adult Dec. 1 to Dec. 23 (all mailed registrations must be postmarked by Dec. 23) $35 per adult Dec. 24 to Jan. 1 (shirts distributed on first-come, first-served basis) $15 per student during entire registration period (must be 18 or under) Rain or Shine Event. No Refunds For Any Reason. Online registration closes on Friday, December 28 at 4:00 p.m. All pre-registered splashers registered before Dec. 23 are guaranteed a long-sleeved event shirt. RULES Only bathing suits can be worn. Splashers cannot wear wetsuits, sweat suits, business suits etc. CHECK IN EARLY! Monday, December 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mango's Restaurant, 97 Garfield Pkwy., Bethany Beach • Avoid the rush on Tuesday morning by checking in or registering last minute splashers on Monday, Dec. 31 at Mango's Restaurant in downtown Bethany Beach. • Joint registration for the Hair of the Dog Run + Exercise Like the Eskimos will be available on site. DAY OF CHECK IN/REGISTRATION Tuesday, January 1 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Bethany Beach Bandstand • Joint registration for the Hair of the Dog Run + Exercise Like the Eskimos will be available on site until 9:00 a.m. (or until run hits event capacity) • Check in and day-of registration will be located in Coastal Tented Events' heated tent at the bandstand. • All participants will receive a wristband to splash. • All spectators will be allowed on the beach to watch the festivities. • At high noon when you here the signal, “splash” into the ocean! FORM A TEAM AND WIN! The team with the most members will win the coveted Iceberg Trophy for all the glory, honor and prestige that accompany it! Three Team Categories Available: Commercial Teams - All team members must: register, pay and put their team name and captain on the registration. - Teams can make and wear team shirts over their bathing suits. Non-Commercial Teams - All team members must: register, pay and put their team name and captain on the registration. - Teams can make and wear team shirts over their bathing suits. Student Teams - All class/club members must: register, pay and put their team name and captain on the registration form. - Classes/clubs can make and wear shirts over their bathing suits. - All student team members must be 18 years of age or younger.
